"He has qualities in hitting." Hanwha's third-year infielder 70% hit? 100 hits for high school graduates. It's no coincidence…stand in front of an ML-turned-outfielder

Moon Hyun-bin's offensive talent and head coach Kim Kyung-moon are also looking forward to it.

Hanwha Eagles infielder Moon Hyun-bin is preparing for his third professional season. Born in Onyangjung-Cheonanbukil High School, Moon wore Hanwha Yoon Form as the 11th pick in the second round of the 2023 KBO Rookie Draft.온라인바카라

In his debut season of 2023, Moon played in 137 games, recording 114 hits, five homers, 49 RBIs, 47 runs batted in, and a batting average of 0.266, making him the seventh high school graduate to have 100 hits in the KBO League. However, he played in 103 games last season, recording 72 hits, five homers, 47 RBIs and a batting average of 0.277. His batting average increased, but the number of hits was small.

A player who can show off his talent at bat without reservation whenever given the chance. However, he failed to establish himself in defense. During his debut season, he traveled both inside and outside, and last season, he mainly stood at second and third bases, but failed to make a clear impact.

There is no room in the infield this year as well. Shortstop Shim Woo-joon will play for Chae Eun-seong at first base, An Chi-hong at second base, and Noh at third base. Hwang Young-mook and Lee Do-yoon are also preparing in the background.

However, Hanwha coach Kim Kyung-moon believes in Moon's attack talent and intends to use him in the main lineup. Moon will be placed at the second batting order to play the role of linking the leadoff and Esteban Floral, Noh Si-hwan and Chae Eun-seong.

"Hyun Bin is still young, but he has good batting skills. He has improved a lot in defense, and although he doesn't seem to be fast, he is also good at base running," coach Kim Kyung-moon said recently. "If he plays in front of Floral and in various fields, he will have a good impact on the way his team scores. I am currently considering No. 2."

Moon started as the second designated hitter at the game against the Doosan Bears in Cheongju on Saturday, the opening game of the exhibition game. Moon felt pain in his hamstring while running on base after hitting a hit, and took a rest afterwards to come to the Busan Lotte Giants as a substitute to check his physical condition. He was the second designated hitter at both the game against the Changwon NC Dinos on Sunday and the game against the Daejeon Samsung Lions on Sunday. He will start the season with multiple hits for two consecutive games.

Although he played a few games, he showed strong performance by posting five hits, two RBIs, two runs scored and a batting average of 0.714 OPS of 1.857. He also had two hits (one double) in the match against Samsung, which was his first game at the new stadium. Everyone was worried when he was replaced due to hamstring discomfort in the opening game of the exhibition game, but he came back without any problems. Manager Kim Kyung-moon thus said, "The positive part is that Hyun Bin came back from injury and finished the exhibition game with good rhythm."

What about Moon's third season? Coach Kim Kyung-moon expects Moon to play the leading role of offense in the second batting order.
